A northeast pharmacy entrepreneur has sold his 25-strong chain of shops and wholesale business to Alliance Boots.
Caterplus Services Ltd, a Watford-based provider of contract catering services to the care and welfare market, has merged with Taylor Shaw, a Warrington-based partnership specialising in contract catering to the education and corporate sectors, to create one of the largest privately-owned contract catering organisations in the UK.
Leeds-based Four Seasons Group (FSG), the specialist air conditioning installation and maintenance business, has acquired High Wycombe-based HM Air Cooling (HMAC) for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition of HMAC adds a further £10 million of revenue resulting in combined proforma revenue for the Group in excess of £20 million and gives the Group critical mass while further improving geographical coverage.
